A Year in Focus: A Photographic Exhibition

A photographic exhibition celebrating the first year of Almaty Museum of Arts opened at MEGA mall on August 25, bringing together selected works by a diverse group of photographers who documented the museum’s early development.

The exhibition presents a visual record of the museum’s first year, capturing its opening, the development of its institutional identity, and the people, events, and moments that shaped its beginnings.

Developed through a collaboration between Almaty Museum of Arts, MEGA mall, and PrintClubAsia, the project brought together cultural and public spaces through photography. As part of the collaboration, PrintClubAsia supported the exhibition through the sponsorship of photographic printing and framing.

The exhibition was on view at MEGA mall from August 25 through September 10 before moving to Almaty Museum of Arts, where it was on view from September 12 through October 15.
